Somali PM says soccer encourages the return of real life to the country

The Prime Minister of the federal government of Somalia, His excellence, Hassan Ali Kheyre, said that the organization of soccer tournaments has helped the return of the real life to Somalia.
 
Addressing at the launch of the 2nd edition of Somali Inter-State soccer tournament on December 8 2017, the country’s Prime Minister, His excellence, Hassan Ali Kheyre, said he was very pealed to witness the greater cooperation between the ministry for youth and sport and Somali Football Federation, adding that his office was fully committed to supporting the progress made by the sporting family.
 
“Soccer is all about civilization, development and public integration, but for Somalia, it has anther objective, because football is a tool that Somali government is using for making a change to create peace and stability in Somalia through the game” His excellence, Prime Minister, Hassan Ali Kheyre, said.
 
“In a competition you can win, you can lose or you can draw, but the main importance is to show fair play, so I urge all contenders in the competition to observe fair play and make good exhibition” His excellence, Hassan Ali Kheyre, told the media at Stadium Banadir.
 
The Prime Minister commended the six teams participating in the competition, adding that their presence in the capital for the tournament was encouraging public integration and the development of Somalia.
 
“My government is fully committed to supporting the game. I applaud for the beautiful cooperation between the ministry for youth and Sport and Somali football federation” His excellence Hassan Ali Kheyre said.
 
Meanwhile, the Prime Minister, His excellence, Hassan Ali Kheyre and his delegation including the minister for youth and sport, Khadija Mohamed Diriye and Mayor of the capital Thabet Abdi Mohamed, walked through the stadium waving at the zealous crowds of spectators at the stadium.
